Living with Diabetes & Liver Disease
When I was diagnosed with both liver dysfunction and type 2 diabetes, I didn’t have a plan — just prescriptions. My fasting glucose was over 325 mg/dL. My liver enzymes were climbing. I was injecting insulin every night. I was overwhelmed, stuck, and unsure what to do next.

What I Use Daily

- Trazodone (Desyrel) – 50mg nightly
- Zinc gluconate – 50mg
- Milk Thistle (herbal) – 7500mg
- Thiamine B1 – 100mg
- Vitamin D + K2 – combined
- Iron (Ferrous Sulfate) – 325mg
What I’ve Learned So Far
- My body runs better when insulin levels are lower
- Fasting helps both my blood sugar and liver stability
